Mechanical Fitter - TEMP TO PERM !!! - Alcester
Description
Our client is a world leading, rail manufacturer of bespoke, high-quality leisure and resort transport are currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their driven and ambitious team. You will be working alongside a group of skilled professionals assisting with the preparation of their unique trains that can be found in some of the UK’s most exciting attractions.Previous experience within an automotive environment will be advantageous. The Mechanical Fitter would have to be comfortable working with hand and air tools.
Mechanical Fitter – Role & Responsibilities:
-Working in a manufacturing environment you will be responsible for the assembly of wheels and bogies,
-You will then be taking these components and mounting these onto the chassis of the vehicles,
-You will also be repairing casting defects,
-You will be working with hand and air tools on a daily basis,
-You will also be bonding components together using adhesives and glues.
Mechanical Fitter Key Skills Required:
-You will ideally have experience of Mechanical Fitting within an Automotive environment,
-You will be fully converse with hand tools and air tools,
-Any experience of welding would be advantageous,
-Experience of working from engineering drawings or SOPs would be advantageous.
Day shift :
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm
Friday 8am - 1 pm
Pay rate : £10 - £10.25/h
